I understand there is a lot to consider when picking your wedding photographer, especially as they will be with you most of the day. One of the most important things for couples to consider is the style of photography in which the photographer shoots. There are many different styles, such as documentary, which is all about capturing moments as they happen on the wedding day. If that is not what you are looking for you can go for a traditional photographer who will concentrate much more on formally posed images.
My style of photography does not fit into any bracket as such so I affectionately call it ‘Modern Traditional Photography’. But what is this?
I like to think my style is between traditional and twenty-first century wedding photography. I like to capture contemporary and stylised portraits of you. I don’t believe in staging everything, so will capture the ‘real’ moments at your wedding but I do believe some of the more classic, posed couple and group shots play a part in portraying the picture of the whole day too. I also pay close attention to the details of your day, the little items that you have spent so long finding to make your day absolutely perfect and unique.
Here is some examples of some ‘real moments’ and some stylised portraits.
